We flew into Uluru so we were picked up at the airport and brought to this hotel. Staff at check in were lovely, we were given our key and directed to our room. It is almost like a motel design. There are no porters here , this is the outback after all. Our room was lovely and roomy and cool. well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, fresh towels, toiletries etc. There is a lovely pool which we availed of while waiting for our laundry to be done. There are free self laundry facilities here, dryers , clothes lines and pegs. Dining options here are varied, you can go and eat at any of the other properties or you can DIY bbq here. You purchase your meat eg. steak, chops etc by weight and cook it yourself on one of the many BBQs and then all the side dishes are free. Really good, Or if you want fast food there is a place for Pizza, Burgers ,Chicken or Fish and Chips. All seating is near the bar and stage where there is live entertainment every night. The resort is serviced by a shuttle bus which runs between all the hotels, the camping ground and the town centre. It runs every 10 mins from 10.30am to 12.30am. The bus also stops at the camel farm. The entry is free and worth a visit. If you would like to do a camel safari then that is an extra charge. The town centre is compact but it does have a well stocked Supermarket, Cafe, Restaurant, Post Office and a couple of gift shops. Our hotel also had a gift shop on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Dear marbarCork, Thank you and we are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, from the spacious rooms to the BBQ and live entertainment. It’s great that you were able to explore the local area too. We hope to see you back in the future for more unforgettable experiences. Best regards

Excellent hotel with all facilities that are required around in Ayers Rock. Nice restaurants and close to the town square. Clean room and a nice pool too. The outback kisok cafe is just around with good food and drinks as well. Very convenient location.

Andria R Couples - TripAdvisor review

Hotels expensive. Food/bar staff there really the didn’t care. Gallery at the hotel is a no. Way over priced and very little goes to the artists. Much better see the Indigenous gallery at Uluru. Staff there are excellent, excited and well informed. Indigenous peoples profit from a decent proportion. Met the artist who painted our chosen pieces. A gift.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Andria. We appreciate your suggestion regarding the gallery. Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding our pricing. We understand that it may seem expensive, but prices in remote areas often reflect the increased logistical costs associated with transport and supply. We strive to provide competitive rates while maintaining quality service in this unique location. We appreciate your understanding.

Any port in a storm.

Stephen B Couples - TripAdvisor review

We expected it to be hot and it was. The lodges were clean and tidy with all you needed. We had a slight problem with the AC but were quickly moved. The biggest problem really was that whilst the breakfast room had AC the main dining area was under cover but outside. Also I must say the loud music, for us was too loud. Good for the younger set I’m sure. The price was right and we had a good two nights.

Thank you for your review, Stephen. We’re glad to hear you found the lodges clean and comfortable and that we could assist with the AC issue quickly. We also appreciate your feedback about the dining area and the music. We understand that preferences can vary, and we’re grateful for your thoughts on this. We’re pleased to hear that overall, you had a good stay with us.

Do not recommend.

Nicolette C Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

I’ve traveled fairly extensively around the world and stayed in a variety of places and this is not one I would stay in again. When we checked in, we were told our room wasn’t ready, fair enough, and we would be notified when our room was ready and a porter would take our bags to the room. Neither happened. In fact, I didn’t see a porter on duty the entire time we stayed. My friend uses a cane to walk and we were housed at the furthest rooms from the check in and it was very difficult for her to move her bags. The room had cinder block walls and was fairly basic although the shower was spacious and the water pressure was good. The food on the premises was also good although there isn’t a restaurant per se. It’s all outdoor picnic table seating except for breakfast. The staff in the eating areas are friendly but the front desk staff are much less so. In short, if you are traveling to Uluru and the Red Center, which is spectacular, do yourself a favor and stay at one of the nicer resorts.

Thank you for your feedback, Nicolette. We regret that your stay did not meet expectations. We are disappointed to hear about the issues with your room readiness and the lack of assistance with your luggage, especially considering your friend's mobility needs. We also acknowledge your comments regarding the room and staff, and will address these concerns to improve the overall experience for future guests. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the food and the shower facilities. We truly appreciate your valuable feedback and hope your visit to Uluru and the Red Centre was still a memorable one.
