The worst restaurant and bar despite the view ! In Bangkok !

We thought we were visiting the best restaurant and outlook in bangkok but when the weather changes and rain closes Vertigo Roof top it becomes a nightmare, Rain at six pm changes what was meant to be a dream but turned into a nightmare: 7pm arrived and told sorry no roof top nay the floor below ! We were cramped into a restaurant with everyone around us and the noise from the stage from hell. I could not even hear my partner so after 10th live singer track we wished to leave - truly appalling and no understanding of a premium experience and event which it naturally should be ! I complained three times and the restaurant GM said we should move ! Why move when we had already been moved, With all the chaos from Lobster and Beef - all over cooked and I was furious in Bangkok - the worst bar and restaurant experience over 10 days in Bangkok an as my partner said we shall not go again despite GM incentives I hold and forever. I asked to meet the GM of the hotel but no it was truly dreadful when after 13 venues it is clear despite the view if you can see it this is d dreadful and do not go! Michael

Singing Bowl Class

During my stay I tried the singing bowls class with Badminton. I was lucky to have this class one on one. It was an amazing experience. My mind was relaxed afterwards. Highly recommended to travellers taking this class during the warm afternoon to cool down your mind and body.

Great hotel in a good position near the Metro good size room and fairlyclean Great breakfast buffet with wide variety of western and Asian meals and very good coffee We had club access and they do a very good afternoon tea in the evening. We had canapés and drinks as part of the club benefits looking at returning January 2026.

This was my first visit to Saffron Thai Restaurant for dinner, accompanied by my mother. I had hoped for a memorable experience, and I’m pleased to say that the evening exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptional attentive, professional, and genuinely focused on providing excellent service. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Khun Mew, Khun Ann, and Khun Fon for their outstanding hospitality. I hope this message will be shared with the management team, as I truly believe these individuals are valuable assets to the hotel. Thank you once again for a wonderful evening.

Outstanding 3rd stay at the Banyan Tree

Just returned from a three night stay at the Banyan Tree Bangkok. Positively surprised in all aspects, even though we had stayed before and already came with high exepectations which were consistently exceeded. The service is impeccable, with staff demonstrating genuine warmth and efficiency, ensuring that every request was met with speed and care. The Executive Lounge offers an exceptional experience, with premium offerings and a refined atmosphere perfect for relaxation or business needs. The offerings and atmosphere go beyond what other 5-star hotels commonly offer in their lounges and should be considered a strong plus when comparing hotels in Bangkok. On our day of check-in, planned electrical maintenance was carried out, leading to a temporary closure of certain floors and the Lounge. However, this actually turned out to be lucky for us - instead of just closing the lounge, it was temporarily relocated to the Vertigo roof top bar on the 60th floor; in addition we were given a day room on the 58th floor. Both of course boasting great views over Bangkok. So what could have been an "inconvenience" was actually a great addition and enhancement of our stay. Pool sunbeds have also been massively ugpraded to extremely comfortable sofa beds, so once you lie down you are at risk of not wanting to get up again at all for the rest of the day... Throughout the hotel refreshing and luxurious scents are used, creating a serene retreat in the heart of Bangkok.
