Unexpected flight change landed us in style—and let me tell you, this stay was chef’s kiss! 🤌🏻 We checked in to their gorgeous Imperial Suite (a twist on the classic Presidential Suite, in Sofitel way), offering sweeping city views and a bench of park serenity over Benchakitti Park. 🌳 The jacuzzi? Absolutely epic. ✨ Suite Highlights: • Spacious, modern-renovated rooms • Super-comfy bed • All the luxe amenities you’d expect 🍽️ Foodie paradise at Sofitel: • Belga 🇧🇪 for Belgian delights • Bella Sera for comforting Italian fare • Maison Mizuki for fresh, elegant sushi • Le Macaron for exquisite handmade chocolates 🍫 ✅ Accor Platinum Perks: Club Millésime access turned breakfast into a refined experience—more curated than the main buffet. This was also included into our room category. Final Thoughts: • ✅ Location—✔️ steps from metro, vibrant nightlife, and heaven for shopaholics • ✅ Room, F&B, amenities—👌 great overall • ✅ Staff—mixed, but generally good • ✅ Loyalty perks—a solid plus • ❌ Value—felt a bit lacking on the “extra wow factor” you’d expect from a Presidential Suite (I’m not sure even if it’ll be addressed or not.) Pro tip: Don’t count on an upgrade—even as a high-tier Accor guest, it’s hit or miss. Better to book the suite you want from the start. 😉 Verdicts: ✔️ Location | ✔️ Room | ✔️ F&B | ✔️ Amenities | Mixed Staff | Loyalty Perks | Value (minor points off) I stayed at Banyan Tree Bangkok the next day at their Presidential Suite and the quality of hospitality was way above. They did deliver the hospitality what one would expect after booking a Presidential Suite. Also I stayed with Sofitel Krabi in this trip, and it delivered the same as Banyan Tree Bangkok where I stayed at Imperial Suite as well. So yes, it’s a management failure I’d definitely like to highlight. Hope to hear back from the General Manager

Wonderful stay with Sofitel BKK! All the staffs are very friendly and polite, especially thankfully for Khaow and Palm for helping with our luggages upon checking out. It was a very lovely stay, we’re looking forward to be back here again! Thanks for the welcome drinks at the hotel lobby !

Astonishing service with very attentive staff, especially n’ Friend. I had a pleasant experience here. Food and drinks have decent quality. I am an Accor Platinum member so I get to enjoy complementary lounge benefits which is a pretty good deal.

The hotel staff made us feel very welcomed and ensured that our stay was as comfortable as possible. We were there for a week and went to the morning buffet everyday and also had the opportunity to go to cocktail hour and tea time. We had a great time and it couldn’t be possible without the best staff: Khaow, Pete, Tui, Natty Boy, Tony, Tum, Tee, Tow, Palm and Kevin!

Khans, Boy is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I would like to give this hotel 6 stars instead of 5. Sofitel is the best hotel in Bangkok. Everything is awesome, the food the customer service and I love the spa. Last, Sofitels location is walking distance to all the best attractions and experiences that the city has to offer
