Perfect hotel. Great bed, great breakfast, great service and location is perfect from dragging bags from overnight train to walking to city center. I was a little worried because rating and some of the negative reviews but don’t believe the negative reviews. We could not be happier. Bed is marvelous! Highly recommend!

Pros: this hotel is within about 3 min walk of Munich Central Train station. Also nice sized rooms. Cons: unfortunately, this area around the train station and hotel is not the best part of Munich - not unsafe, just not clean & a few shady characters here and there. Also, this hotel lists air conditioning, but they actually appear to be water cooled fan systems. Finally, our room smelled of smoke - likely a previous guest that ignored the rules and despite hotels claiming they can rid the rooms of this smell they just cannot.

Regarding the air conditioning, we would like to clarify that our cooling system is designed with environmental considerations in mind. To reduce energy consumption and our environmental footprint, we activate the system only when outside temperatures exceed 21°C (approximately 70°F). We understand this may not suit everyone’s preferences and appreciate your understanding. We also want to reassure you that while the area around the train station can be busy, it remains a safe neighborhood, frequently monitored and patrolled. Munich, as a whole, is one of the safest cities in Europe, and we take guest safety very seriously. Finally, we sincerely apologize for the smell of smoke in your room. We have strict non-smoking policies and make every effort to thoroughly clean and refresh rooms after any violations. We regret that this issue affected your stay and will address it with our housekeeping team to ensure better results moving forward. Good base to explore Munich at short walk away from Central Train Station

Excellent proximity to the Central Train Station with level walk through eateries to the Old Town and city gardens / attractions. Check in and check out were quick. Requested quiet courtyard room on higher floor away from lifts, and we got exactly that. Great double glazed windows, seals on doors and soundproofed walls. Room was spacious with good room-rate inclusive mini-bar. Nice walk-in shower and scented soaps. Room had 2 windows, 1 had good black-out curtains, the other 1 was not as well designed. AC was consistently quiet but could be stronger during hot weather.

A good location if travelling by train, only a short distance from the main station. check in was easy, providing luggage storage for oversize items, even arriving a bit early. Room was clean, and counter staff were happy to provide local knowledge and maps. Restaurant on the ground floor provided a wide range of food that was well prepared. A short walk to the city centre is about 10 mins away and I felt safe walking at night.I stayed 3 nights and would stay again.

Good hotel. Relatively central- 5 mins walk from the main station and 3 minute walk from the subway: we were able to walk to most places including Marienplatz in 20 minutes tops Then have a free minibar, clean and spacious rooms with room for an extra bed as well. Breakfast was the same for 3 days, decent selection of breads, cereals and some warm options. The area around is a bit more ethnic , and there’s a Lidl just across the street which is helpful. Overall, good hygienic options, similar experience to any regular 4 star hotel.
