First a few small points upon arrival check in was extremely slow and they did not acknowledge our Gold ALLAcore status. The receptionist was not rube but totally bland and uninterested. We were give a room down the end of a block. Then arrival looked Ok - old but clean and tidy. Until we opened the door to the room. Tiny room, tiny bed, grotty. No where to sit but a plastic chair. Moldy bathroom. We were lucky enogh to be placed in a room above the carpark with motor bikes revving till about 2am and across the hall a baby continuiosly crying . Then a large party speaking an unknow llanguage arrived and decided to have a party in the hall. Bloody hell!!! About 4am all was quiet and we go "some" sleep. Next morning breakfas (awoke to hammering and pounding). Novotel dining room is closed so off to the Mercure , really only a few hundred meters. Awful coffe from a machine so ordered (at extra charge) barista coffee. Turned out to be just hot brown water. To be fair on chack out they waved the charge. And the inedible buffet included potatoes gems and tinned spagetti. I hope you are a getting the picture. PS The cost $316

We needed to stay overnight as our flights didn't connect. On arrival we called the hotel and they sent a van to collect our baggage and us in a few minutes. Check in was seamless and as an All member we received a complimentary welcome drink. Our room was spacious and clean, the beds quiet and comfortable and the shower was hot. We rarely have time in our schedule to enjoy in-house activities and were pleased by the well equipped gym, tropical island-style swimming pool and outdoor dining and bar. The gardens and surroundings are lovely.

Bad points The shuttle bus driver closed the back door on my wife's head, knocking her to the ground. The hotel didn't respond to my report of that incident. The Novotel rooms are overdue for refurbishment. Breakfast buffet has no salad and only one kind of eggs. Good point Five minutes walk to airport and can take a trolley.

Hotel basico e decisamente agé. Lavori in corso di ristrutturazione all’esterno, ma a mio parere più necessari negli interni. Non certo un quattro stelle. Unico pregio la sua posizione molto vicino all’aeroporto. Garantiscono reception e navetta aeroportuale 24 ore al giorno. Peccato che al mio arrivo alle 2 del mattino al telefono dedicato per chiamare la navetta non mi hanno risposto. Arrivato a piedi in albergo trovo l’ingresso chiuso e la reception deserta. Posso entrare e fare il check-in solo dopo aver telefonato al numero dell’albergo. Analogamente, alla partenza, nonostante la garanzia di reception 24 ore, alle 4 del mattino posso fare check out solo dopo avere telefonato al numero dell’albergo

Ideal para vuelos tempranos desde aeropuerto de Darwin ya que está literalmente al lado (se va andando en menos de 5 minutos). Dormimos tranquilos, sin ruido de aviones. La habitación estaba bien pero la relación calidad/precio es normal ya que era muy caro para las prestaciones que tenía.

Thanks for your feedback in relation to your stay at the hotel. The property is well located only 200 metres from the airport and has a complimentary 24 hour shuttle service. As you noted it is amazing how quiet it is especially given its location. Thanks again for the support and patronage.
