Great location. Very overpriced for what is essentially a deep budget hotel. The positives: Great location, helpful, attentive staff, decent breakfast buffet The negatives: Tiny rooms. Even smaller bathroom that floods when you take a shower. Threadbare towels. Very poor quality sheets. Half size pillows that are not very comfortable. Mattress that is about 6 inches thick so you feel like you are sleeping on a camp cot. Chairs in the room are so small you have to be a circus dwarf to feel comfortable sitting in them. In conclusion: Very overpriced hotel for what is essentially an upgraded youth hostel experience.

Very good location, close to many Amsterdam attractions. Rooms small but well equipped, clean and quiet. Staff very friendly towards guests. Fantastic breakfasts. You can even take coffee to go. Excellent choice for a few days stay in Amsterdam.

For a budget hotel it was excellent. We paid £10 extra to have a non basement room and stayed for 3 nights. Room was spacious for a city hotel and we had a balcony overlooking the canal which we wasn’t expecting! Staff were extremely friendly, the only downside was we thought we had breakfast included which turns out we didn’t. May have been our error when booking. Location was great. Very easy to get into Amsterdam central. We walked some days but trams were easy to use and ran often and there’s a Lidl a 2 minute walk away from hotel. Hotel was clean, maid cleaned our room daily and even made a swan out of the towels which was a nice touch. Would recommend location wise, rooms were clean and helpful reception staff. Just as expected!
