Our experience at Sofitel Fiji was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The resort’s beautiful setting, combined with warm Fijian hospitality, made our stay truly special. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—always smiling and ready to help. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. The housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping everything fresh and tidy. We especially enjoyed the dining options—delicious food, great variety, and wonderful service at every meal. The pool was relaxing, perfect for unwinding. A big thank you to the entire Sofitel Fiji team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return

I stayed there June 2025 and had a horrid experience. In addition to many complaints the hotel did nothing to rectify and instead they basically told me it wasn’t there problem. Room was unbearable and hot, ac not great and room so muggy. Couldn’t sleep because the ac never got cool enough and the room was damp. Got “upgraded” to a room on the adult side supposed to come with a mini bar, and was checked in with an empty fridge. Called room service to resolve and no one ever came to stock the fridge for the entire time we were there. Room safe didn’t work and had to wait for a tech to come change the battery. Had this issue twice both on check in and check out. Ceasar salad was appalling and not at all a ceasar salad. Buffet was so poor quality. Overall food was beneath the quality expected at a Sofitel. Wifi does not work and could use the arantia cast at all. Couldn’t use our phones in the rooms to check flights, email , etc. never was able to cast to the TV either so had limited tv options. Had to use our data even though the claim Free WiFi. Meaning we used way more of our international data plan than we anticipated as we purchased a plan that suited a hotel with working WiFi. Room smelled awful, like overly sweet rotting fruit. Unsure if it was the aircon or what but the smell of the room gave us both headaches and made enjoying the room extremely hard. Overall the experience was not up to any standards of a Sofitel brand hotel. The fact the room cost $500 USD and we had such a low quality experience was a major disappointment.

Highly recommend, beautiful resort, great for both kids & parents. 5 stars!

Couldn't recommend the Sofitel enough. If you're looking for a great family holiday with tons of things to keep the kids busy but also beautiful surrounds for adults this is the place to stay. Location is great, not too far from the airport and the resort has everything you need. Service was amazing and everyone who worked there had a warm welcoming nature and couldn't help you enough. Food is great, 5 restaurants on site, great buffet breakfast with good coffee included, good room service 'Sofitel Eats', spa was divine, large big family pool, everything so well maintained and clean. Family room although a little small had a bunk 'room' (small but had a sliding door for a separate space which we loved), nice big shower and had everything you need. The Kids club was amazing, right on the beach, zip line, water park and our two boys loved going. Thank you to Milly, Issy, Sava, Kitty and all the staff there who gave our boys a wonderful time and enabled Mum & Dad to have some time out on the holiday. The little warrior experience they offer with the family package was a must-do, super cute and a great experience for the family. The adults only Waitui Beach Club was bliss, has a lovely meal. Couldn't fault the Sofitel and we will be coming back again next year!

We stayed at the Sofitel with our two kids (6 & 9) and had the most amazing time! The staff at this hotel are all so lovely. Wise, Ben, Zac, Pete and all the activity staff were incredible, our kids had the best time with them doing all the daily activities. The staff really make the experience at this hotel a very special one. Other highlights are the pool area is beautiful and the service is 5 stars, waiters are always quick to take your order. Buffet Breakfast was amazing and we ate dinner at both restaurants onsite - Solis and Madame So - delicious food at both of these and again outstanding service. Our room was also lovely, we stayed in the Family Room which was perfect for our kids to have a seperate little room with bunk beds. The Kids Club and Babysitting Services are also are wonderful bonus which meant we could head over to the Stunning Adults Only Beach Club for a lovely relaxing afternoon. Amazing holiday, would highly recommend this resort for families.
