Amazing hotel near to everything in the middle Phuket main activity’s I like the view of my room. It was room with pool access for the breakfast during my stay. I went once it was nice and has a variety of dishes. For sure i will return back again :)

Serious Safety Concerns

During my stay at Novotel Phuket in May 2025, my six-year-old son suffered a serious accident when he bumped into the glass door leading to the poolside. The door shattered into large shards, causing severe cuts that required plastic surgery. We had to stay in the hospital for two days, incurring THB 150,000 in medical expenses. While the hotel provided immediate assistance, the lack of toughened safety glass raises serious concerns. Despite reporting the issue, we await a resolution. I urge travelers to check safety measures, as no family should endure such distress on vacation. Novotel must take corrective action.

The resort has fabulous views from most parts of the resort, bed and room was fine, breakfast was ok made much better by the fresh egg station, pool and pool bar were good and location was good with one big exception which will now be in my negatives for Novotel Phuket Resort. We landed quite late so once we arrived we looked at the views and went straight to bed, then to our shock we were woken at 4;32am by the call to prayer blaring from the speakers of the nearby muslin mosques, we hoped this was a once off as we had read a lot of reviews for Novotel Phuket Resort with no mention of this at all but unfortunately we found ourselves awake every morning 4:30-5am listening to the call to prayer. Had we read a review or were informed of this happening about this resort/area it would have seriously changed our decision making whilst putting together our trip. Because we read reviews about Novotel Phuket Resort we knew a lot of people said that the resort was full of Indian travellers which we had no problem with until on our first visit to buffet breakfast it was 40% Indian adults 40-50% Indian Children and we were a bit shocked with everyone’s touching and handling the food in a buffet environment. For most of our 9 night stay we were going to breakfast at 6:30am before the people with no idea of personal space and touchy fingers arrived after a coffee on the balcony taking in our beautiful view after being woken up by the call to prayer speakers at 4:30am. We hoped to have a game or two of tennis on our stay but they are unusable and shouldn’t even be in their advertising. The workers in the resort were all wonderful and we found it helpful to learn some Thai as their English wasn’t great.

Great staff ambience food and hospitality Special thanks to kids party team- Tok Bank Beat Four Few Arya Ayu Pang They were amazing and made our stay so comfortable. Kids enjoyed company . Rooms were comfortable with great amenities . Location was central with Indian food available at restaurant.

Kids did Kickboxing every morning with Beat and Pang. They were so friendly, patient and accommodating. They also welcomed the kids at poolside activities making it a much more enjoyable experience for us. Great work, thanks boys!!!.....
