This hotel is desperately in need of a refurb. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast was ok. I was upgraded to a junior suite but what a weird set up. The bedroom was a large space with nothing in it. Not a shelf in sight. The entrance room had a couch and table with 2 chairs. The carpets throughout were dirty and the floors in the Dining buffet area were disgusting. Wouldn’t stay again even though it’s a lovely location

We spent 3 nights at Novotel Darwin. Lucked out with Greek festival just across the road. Easy walking distance to many places of interest.

My stay was average. The room was clean but very deteriorated, cracked tiles in the bathroom and the ceiling. Aircon was leaking from the top floor on to our verandah, couldn't sit at some sections. The cleaners where there most of the day till late afternoon and then I had dirty laundry sitting outside my room from Sunday afternoon till 11 am check out the next day. Breakfast was not what it used to be 2 years ago Now I check my CC and I have extra charges that I need to sort out, Other than the location... Themi - Michaels other half

Firstly the staff were amazing so this review has nothing to do with that but the room was not good. The carpets are dirty and stained, the air conditioning was making loud noises every minute and was waking us up in the night. The bathroom vanity had water damage and was peeling. For the amount of money people pay for this room I believe it needs to be renovated.

Our bath tub had a clunck of hair in it which did not belong to us and the carpet was never vacuumed even though the cleaner came in on the Sunday morning. All that was done was the bed and one extra towel was left. Disappointed about house keeping. The supervisor wasn’t really fazed about it either once we told her st checkout
