Couldn't fault hotel

We stayed at the Novotel for 5 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. We were greeted warmly when we arrived by a very pleasant receptionist, but all staff were helpful during our stay. The hotel is ideally situated -5 min walk into the old town and handy for restaurants/cafes/supermarket nearby. The hotel was spotless, our room was large, as were the comfy beds. We had requested a 'quiet' room and they honoured our request. It made such a difference having a fridge in the room and the carafe for the water machine was such a good idea. The water machine was just outside our door too. It was also a boon having a safe in our room-meant we could safely leave our valuables, without carrying them with us. Lovely toiletries provided too. Didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. All in all, the hotel has everything guests need and I would thoroughly recommend.

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel and it didn't disappoint! Great location with easy access to the Old Town and 'the island'... if you exit reception via the gardens it's even easier to go over the bridge into the hub of the action. Only a few gripes preventing this from being a five-star review: the allocation of plug sockets is random, with only one of the twin beds having one next to it. The other was on the floor between the toilet and bathroom doors which wasn't ideal. Also it would have made sense to have a mirror above the dressing table. All in all, a comfortable stay. The carafe in the room which could be topped up with drinking water was a nice touch.

This thoughtful approach to catering ensured a satisfying start to each day. The staff at the Novotel Centrum Gdansk were consistently friendly and helpful. Their professionalism and positive attitude contributed to a pleasant overall experience. It was evident that the hotel is a popular choice throughout the year, attracting a diverse clientele, including many young families. This bustling atmosphere adds to the hotel's vibrancy and ensures a lively environment. While my stay was overwhelmingly positive, I believe there's always room for improvement in any establishment. For this reason, I would rate the Novotel Centrum Gdansk just below the full five stars. However, this should not detract from the fact that it offers a highly enjoyable and convenient stay in Gdansk. Pros: * Excellent location, close to attractions, restaurants, and bars. * Clean and tidy rooms. * Fantastic breakfast spread catering to all dietary needs. * Friendly and helpful staff. * Lively and vibrant atmosphere. Cons: * While generally excellent, there's always room for improvement. Overall: I would highly recommend the Novotel Centrum Gdansk to anyone visiting Gdansk, particularly couples, families, and those looking for a central location from which to explore the city. Its convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff make it an excellent choice for a memorable stay.

A modern bright hotel a few minutes walk from the Motlowa river and old town of Gdansk. We had a quiet room on the first floor (as requested) overlooking the pedestrian side street. The twin room was a good size with the toilet separate from the shower and handbasin. The toiletries provided were by Rituals. A small fridge and kettle were available in the room. A wardrobe with some hangers, adequate for a short stay. As we were staying on accommodation only basis I cannot comment on the food at the hotel. There were many restaurants and places to have breakfast close by. I would definitely recommend for a short stay in Gdansk.

+ We spent really nice time on New Years Eve with my friends. There was some music, girls worked at full speed, drinks were wonderful. Lady at front desk also friendly. Big varietes in breakfast between sweet and savoury. Parking spot in front the hotel is a plus. Perfect location, near a lot of restaurants and museums. - Big minus for a next day breakfast (on 1st January). We understand that it was a busy day and queue, but there was no effort on cleaning tables or taking dirty dishes away. The guy with a beard at front was just standing, nothing else (why???). The 1/3 of cutlery was dirty. No glasses for juice. The mattress in bed was a bit too soft.
